Eating food with the family might be one of the most happiest moment in one’s life. It is therefore very important to control and know the amount of a particular food you need, so as to prevent under dose or overdose

Below are some facts about foods which have been hidden from the public for centuries now:

1.lemons contain more sugar than strawberries

After coming across this surprising fact about lemons and strawberries, l thought l had to just write about it . According to a research conducted, the results revealed that lemons contain more sugar than strawberries! Isn’t that shocking?Who would believe lemons contain more sugar than strawberries? Interestingly, lemons contain 70% sugar while strawberries have only 40% . So does it mean consuming large quantity of lemons can lead to diabetes?

2.Avocado has a significant amount of protein?

Did you know that the word avocado originally came from the Aztec word ahuacate, which meant testicle

Avocado is a good source of healthy fat , fibre folate and most importantly protein . Avocados consist of 73% water 15%, fats 8.5%, carbohydrates and 2% protein . Half an avocado (68 grams) contains 108 calories, corresponding to 160 calories per 100 grams
